Cute Cowboy

One last post, then I'm calling it a night so I can get up early and get my SU! preview order placed!!! Today's SCS challenge was to use a set that will be retiring. Believe it or not with such an extensive list, I only have a handful of those on the list. Most of those are sentiments....so I chose an older retired set- Cowboy Kid. He is so adorable. I had some of this fun paisley patterned paper laying around so I thought that would work well with this card. I love the color combo too. I started with Bordering Blue for my card base. I ripped a piece of the paisley paper and attatched it to the left half of the card. I doodled around the edges of the right side of the card with the white gel pen. The white strip across the middle is "bugged" with ribbon tied ariund it. I scalloped the bottom of the card. The main image is stamped on white and layered on Chocolate Chip cardstock. I colored my little guy with SU! markers. I added flock to the horse so he's fuzzy. The star badges were stamped on white with Brocade Blue, cut out, and mounted on dimensionals. I also added dazzling diamonds to the center of the stars. Well, I'm off to put Cameron in bed for the 15th time and then I'm going to bed!!
