Myles Goes To Kindergarten

This card is for my nephew, Myles that will be starting kindergarten next week. When each of my nephews start kindergarten I put together a little gift for them. Myles loves monkeys, so his gift has a monkey theme, and that is why there is a monkey on his shirt! The sketch was for yesterday's Mojo Monday sketch. I have friends coming to visit later today, so I better get my house in order!

For Your Shower

This baby shower card is for yesterday's Mojo Monday sketch. I used the buggy from one of the My Cute Stamps sets. Sorry I can't recall the name of it right off hand. I'm going to spare you the details because I'm super busy today!! Have a good day!

With Sympathy

Good Monday morning bloggers! I hope everyone had a great weekend. We spent the day at Soak City with the family. For those of you who are familiar with Cedar Point In Sandusky, Soak City is the waterpark that is connected to it. I had some very sleepy boys this morning. And we were even in bed by 9 last night! Before I went to bed I had a few minuted to work on last week's Mojo Monday sketch. There were lots of panels and layeres to this one, but it was fun. I used Urban Garden DP and Upsy Daisy for the stamped image. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. I hope your week is starting out well!

Back To School

Isn't this little guy just the cutest?! How many of you are ready to ship your kids off to school. Before we know it it will be here. I've got to be honest, I'm not ready for them to go back to school. It just hasn't felt like summer. It's going way too fast. They don't start until September 3rd, so we have a few weeks yet. I just did some supply shopping, so I was in the mood to make a back to school card for Carter. He is going into his second year of preschool. I used Billy & Dress Up Lily/Billy Accessories from PCS for this one. The dp that was used is by Three Bugs In A Rug. The layout was inspired by this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch. I colored the main image with Copics and I added Crystal effects to make the apple shiney. Don't you just love his little plaid shorts? I paper pieced those because Carter is wearing plaid shorts on his first day of school . I hope you week is going well! Happy Hump Day:-)

Just Stinking

I've been trying to finish a scrapbook layout for the umteenth day now, but the mojo just isn't flowing. So I decided to put together a card for this week's Mojo Monday sketch instead. We are going camping this weekend so I pulled out my Happy Camper set from TCP. I hadn't inked up this adorable little skunk yet, so I chose him for the main image. You can't tell from the pics, but he has white fun flock on the white parts of his body. I use liquid applique for his marshmallow, and there is a little glitter on the center flames of the fire. I used Cosmo Cricket's Mr. Campy paper. I don't know what I'm going to do when I run out of that stuff. Well, back to that layout. I refuse to let it go unfinished today!

Happy Father's Day!

Sorry for the late post today. We went swimming this morning. 3rd day in a row! This is the first of my Father's Day cards. It will be here before we know it. I just got my new Happy Camper stamps in the mail from The Cat's Pajamas. I paired it with my Mr. Campy d.p. They work perfect together. I also used this week's Mojo Monday sketch. I hope you are ll enjoying your week so far. My birthday is on Friday and it can't get here soon enough!

Howdy Little Partner

This card is for this week's Mojo Monday sketch. Everything I used on this card was laying on my desk from other projects. I think it's time to clean up around here! The image is from PCS (Sweet Pea). I colored the image a long time ago, and it's just been laying in the pile, so I dusted it off and went from there. The dp is from SU's Washington Apple collection. Everything else on the card is also from SU! Hope you have a great Thursday! And Happy 7th Birthday to my nephew, Ry-Ry!!

A Little Something

I made this card for this weeks Mojo Monday sketch found here. I think it would be a great Babay Girl's 1st birthday card. I inked up Sweet Pea from PCS. This time I put her in her strawberry outfit to match the dp. I picked up the dp from my LSS and it is by Doodlebug Design. Have a great Thursday!

Mojo Monday Mother's Day Card

You are probably tired of seeing Mother's Day cards, but I have a lot of special moms in my life. This card is using Julee's Mojo Monday sketch for this week. I used Good Morning d.p. on this one. Another simple card. Took less than 10 minutes to put it all together, but these days that's about all I have to spare! Have a great Wednesday!

Smell The Flowers

Good Tuesday morning. I got a chance to work on Julee's mojo Monday sketch this week, so here is my take on it. The card is actually 4 1/4x 4 1/2, rather than the standard A2 size. It's pretty simple, not much to explain, other than the set that I used is Forest Friends from PTI. Plus I am shampooing the carpets while the kids are at school, so I better get busy! Have a great day!

Take Time For Yourself

My poor Bellas have been neglected, so I pulled one out to use for my Mojo Monday Sketch. I may end up selling my Bellas because I just don't use them as much as I should. If I end up doing that, you will be the first to know. Anyway, the d.p. I used is from SU's Good Morning Sunshine collection. actually, all of the products, except for Bella and the sentiment, are SU! Hope you all have a great Tuesday!

Grrr!

Good Monday morning everyone! How was your weekend? We stayed plenty busy as usual. Yesterday I had a workshop, and I think it went well. Today I wanted to start the week off with Julee's Mojo Monday sketch that you can find here. I am getting very anxious for summer. And our favorite thing to do in the summer is camp, so I dug out my Under The Stars set. While I don't care for bugs and mosquitos, I will take them over this freezing, snowy weather we are having. It is supposed to warm up for the weekend though. Have a wonderful rest of the day!

Such A Deer

I'm posting this a little later than usual. The kids had a two-hour delay this morning. Imagine that! Then Carter and I headed to town to get groceries. The roads were pretty crumby so it took us forever to get there and back. But we are back and it's time to get down to business. This is the card that I made for Julee's Mojo Monday sketch. I love her sketches! The card size this time is 4.25"x 4.25" square. The d.p. I used is from the Mr.Campy line by Cosmo Cricket. The set again is Forest Friends from PTI. At the end of the week I'm hoping to share with you some ideas for Super Bowl. Stay tuned!

From Our House To Yours

This is the last of my new Riley Moose stamps. This is Santa Riley. I used him to combine Julee's Mojo Monday sketch and this week's SCS color challenge of Real Red, Black, and Kraft. Everything on the card is SU! except for the main image. I colored him with Copics and used liquid applique for his beard and hat. The rest is pretty basic. Make sure to scroll down for my earlier post.

Merry Wishes

Let me just say that is so cold that my hands hurts to type! We actually had some snow flurries last night. So this card seemed fitting for my Mojo Monday sketch card. I pulled out my Wreathabella and matched her up with some of my leftover Figgy Pudding d.p. by Basic Grey from last year. I colored her with Copics. I don't have Nesties or any other big scallop circle so I had to do it the old fashioned way, with the Coluzzle and corner rounder punch! Maybe I'll put those Nesties on my Christmas list! Be sure to scroll down for my earlier post. Happy Monday!

A Very Merry Christmas To You!

Finally, a few minutes to whip up a card for fun! I'm knee deep in anniversary invitations for my in-laws and so that doesn't leave much time these days to stamp for no reason. I started with my d.p. by My Mind's Eye for the inspiration for my colors. I used Julee's Mojo Minday sketch. It's an awesome sketch but I think my main image is a little too big. I used my new Home For Christmas set. I love to watercolor this image. My little pumpkins are waking up from their naps, so I better get back to work! Happy Monday!

Frightful & Delightful Mojo Monday

This is the card I made yesterday for Julee's Mojo Monday sketch. Yet another great sketch. I'm not loving the way the card turned out, but I'll definately be using this sketch again. I used my new Papertry Ink set, called Spooky Sweets II. The sentiment is from A Muse. I also used my new Spiderweb Cuttlebug embossing folder for the background. Hope you're having a great Tuesday. I've got lots of housework to catch up on!

Big Bear Hugs

I loved this sketch Julee provided for this week's Mojo Monday sketch. It was just enough to get my mojo going, but not too much that it's overwhelming. I have a to-do list that is growing quickly and this card got me in the mood to keep pluggin' along to get that list a little shorter. As soon as I saw this sketch I knew what set I wanted to use. I pulled out my Bear Hugs set by C.C. designs. It can be purchased at ATS. I paired up this set with SU! Autumn Vine d.p., that will be available for purchase October 1st. This card is going to a friend who is having a tough time right now. I will be back soon to share a project that the daycare kids have been working hard on. It's been a while since I posted a kids' craft.

Hello Sunshine- Mojo Monday #52

I had the chance to work on Julee's Mojo Moday sketch, and this is what I came up with. Yesterday started of rainy and gloomy here in Ohio, but quickly cleared up and became sunny. The boys love to go out chasing butterflies and stomping in the puddles. That is where the inspiration for this card came from. I pulled out Lily and her accessories. I usually use Billy when I reference my boys, but it was a nice to change to use Lily. I used some of Stampin' Up's new d.p. called Rainbow Sherbert. It has some fun, cheery colors so that's why I chose that line of d.p. I paper piece Lily's rain coat and boots. Do you see that she is standing in a puddle on the sidewalk catching butterflies? That's exactly what the boys would do!

No Mojo Monday Sketch...WHAT!?

The first thing I do on Monday mornings when I log onto my computer is head over to Julee's blog to see what she's got in store for the mojo Monday sketch. I don't know about you, but I need lots of inspiration on Monday mornings. Well, I did just that, but this time...no sketch! But as I read her post, she told us she would be posting DAILY sketches over at SCS for the next 12 days in honor of her anni-VERVE-sary. I was so excited. Today we are on sketch 6, I think. I'm trying to keep up, but here is my card for AVS01. This one uses Huggybellas from Stamping Bella. It has tons of layers! The patterned paper is Organic Marigold from Bo Bunny. That's about it for today. I have to finish whipping up thank you's for the boys' birthday party.
