Left side of layout
Here is a quick layout I put together this afternoon of the Craig Morgan concert we went to last summer during the fair. This pictures of the layout are awful, but I have no idea how to photograph them. Oh well. At least the layout is done! I don't knwo about where you live, but here in Ohio it has been pretty warm. Near 90 all week! We are enjoying it though. That's the reason fpr my lack of posting. We are just having way too much fun!

The Three Little Bears

It has been so long since I've had a chance to work on a scrapbook page, but I made it a priority yesterday. Now that I'm in the mood again I'm hoping to get a few more layouts done this week. I used my Happy Camper set again to create this layout of my "3 little Bears" reading one of our favorite stories. Click on th ephoto to enlarge for detail. Here is the left page. I paper pieced the bears' tummies. I thought it was a cute touch.

Here is the right page. It is so hard to photograph layouts.

Well, one more day til my birthday. Keep your fingers crossed that the weather is nice because we are going out for the evening. Happy Thursday!!

On The Farm

How was everyone's weekend? It's somuch easier to start a Monday when the weekend was good! We had a great weekend. Friday night we did a little shopping. Saturday I got to babysit my neighbors beautiful 3 week old baby boy. Then had a fish fry with some friends. Sunday I had a baby shower and then when i got home Dustin took all of the kids for the afternoon. I got 4 hours to myself. I just stayed home and cleaned but it was so much easier without kids underfoot. I even found a little time to put this layout together. My scrapbooks have been neglected big time this winter, so I'm hoping to catch up this week. Hope you have a great one!

T-Ball

Click to view in larger format.
Here is my layout for Haley's Scrap With Me Tuesday Challenge. If you're not sure what I mean by that, read the post below. I was planning on this being the next layout I scrapped anyway. It just happened to work perfect for her challenge to scrap something representing summer. Enjoy!

Birthday Party

I haven't shared a scrapbook page with you in a while, so here is one I put together yesterday from Austin's birthday party in May. The patterned paper is the Celebration line by American Crafts. Today my goal is to put together a scrapbook layout for Haley's Scrap With Me Tuesday Challenge. She has a weekly contest going on, so head over to her blog and check it out. This week's challenge is to create a layout representing summer. I will probably start working on our Myrtle Beach pictures.

Soccer Star

Here is the last layout in Austin's scrapbook. He just had his birthday, so it's time to start a new scrapbook. The boys get a new one each year for their birthdays. I have most of my scrapping supplies packed away for the weekend, so I have little to work with here at home. This is what I came up with for this layout though. I am getting excited to spend the weekend with my friends/family. Tomorrow can't get here fast enough!

More Scrap Happy DT Work

Here are a few more of the projects I made using the new Paper Salon patterned paper for my local scrapbook store, Scrap Happy. I made another Father's Day card, a baby boy card, and a layout.
Today is another nice day out, so I'm hoping to get a walk in. My friend, Courtney is also stopping by with her daughter for a visit. Last night we went for a 6 mile bike ride. My legs hurt so bad when I went to bed. The bugs were HORRIBLE. Dustin got 2 in his eye and we couldn't even talk to eachother for fear of eating them, so we gave up and came home. The boys slept wonderful though!

Lots To Share

Austin and Cameron with Cat in the Hat at the Story book FestivalA layout for Austin from camping last summer. I paper pieced all of the embellishments on the layout.
I got this cute little image from my s-i-l. It's from High Hopes. This card is for Julee's Mojo Monday sketch.

I usually have a hard time getting going on Monday mornings, but today wasn't too bad. Maybe it was because we had a descent weekend. Saturday Austin had a soccer game and Cameron had basketball game. Both boys scored and they were so proud of themselves, rightfully so! Mommy was proud too! After the games we went to the story book festival. Each year the high school hosts this festival. They have a story book theme and the kids get free books and can get their picture taken with the main character. This year was Cat in the Hat. Carter wasn't impressed with the giant talking cat, but Austin and Carter wanted their picture taken with him. Sunday we had our family picture taken . We were in and out in less than ten minutes. The boys could not have been better! We were all in bed by 8:00 last night. That might explain why this morning has gone so smoothly. And that's why I have 3 things to share with you!

Feeding The Squirrels

It finally feels like spring here in Ohio. We've been running aroung for several hours now, from one sporting event to another. Carter isn't feeling so well and desperately needs a nap. We came home for just a little while, hoping that he gets a short nap before heading off to the next thing. This layout is from this winter when we went to feed the squirrles. It was 50 degrees and mid January. The layout is self explainitory, except for the "peanut" embellishments that I made. I bought baking clayand molded it into peanut shapes. Then I pressed real peanuts into the soft clay to get the effect of the real thing. Then I baked them until they were hard and painted them when they were cool. I hope everybody enjoys this beautiful day.

More Layouts

This was Cameron's Thanksgiving feast at school. I got to spend the day with him there. The library pocket hold things that Cam is thankful for. These are some of the pictures from this winter. The chipboard pieces are painted white and covered in glitter. Very sparkly!
This was from one of our nature walks last summer.

Is everyone ready for another holiday weekend? Easter just came way too early this year. And because we are expecting up to 6 inches of snow for the weekend, it doesn't seem like Easter should be here yet. Because today is the first day of the kids' spring break I probably won't get time to stamp today. I'll share a few more of the layouts that I did last week. Have a great weekend and Happy Easter!~

I Wish I Were At The Beach Right Now

Life has sure gotten in the way of my stamping and blogging the is week! So many things going on that I just couldn't find the time to fit it in. Today we are just staying home and taking it easy, so I'm doing some more catching up on my scrapbooks. I hope to have them completely done by Easter so that I can take them along to our family gatherings and show them off. Here is another beach layout for Cameron. Each year while at the beach I take of picture of the boys from behind of them looking into the water. I think these pictures are just precious. I used the Life's A Breeze set from SU! on these pages. Hopefully I'll be back later today with more layouts to share.

Spring Scrappin'

Click on the photos to enlarge for detail.

I've been in a springy mood the past few days, and it put me in the mood to get several layouts done. Apparently Mother Nature didn't get the memo that said spring means warmer, sunnier weather. Instead we got an inch of ice and 3 more inches of snow last night. The kids are home again, but hopefully they'll keep each other occupied so I can get a few more layouts done today. These 3 layouts are for Carter's book. His is almost caught up- to date!

Beach Boy

Here is another one of Austin's layouts that I finished this week from last summer at the beach. While doing this layout I was able to remember there will be warmer, sunnier days ahead. I'm tired of winter!! That's why I had my blog banner changed. No more snow!! Happy Friday!

Today's Workshop Projects

I have a workshop this afternoon, which means no stamping..for "me" anyways. I wanted to share with you the things we will be making. First, will be this adorable 6x6 scrapbook page that used the Just 4 You Level 3 Hostess SSK. Then I will be demonstrating this cute little 2,5,7,10 box. I filled it with ribbon to give to the hostess. The girls will be making the party blowers and onesie card that I showed you earlier in the week. Happy Sunday!

Back To School

Here are two layouts that I've been working on the past couple of days. The first one is of Cameron's first day of kindergarten. I used the retired Primary Colors SSK for this. I'm sad that this kit is no longer available. Good thing I bought two while they were available.

The other layout is from out last camping trip of the season in October. This is another for Austin. I hope to be back later with today's SCS sketch challenge.

Ohio State Fans

Click on pics to enlarge

I have fallen so behind this week. The kids had no school for three days, and that really threw me off. I had little time to create. I put these 2 layouts together in less than an hour. There are kind of plain, but that's what you get when you're pressed for time. the first one is of the boys in their Ohio State shirts goofing off for the camera. The second layout is of Christmas this year. Both of these are Austin's layouts. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Sunday's Workshop

Here are a couple of the things that we will be doing at the workshop I have tomorrow. The first is a card that used the new Berry Bliss paper. I love pinks and browns together, so this paper was a must have for me. The sentiment is from the new Smarty Pants set and the alphabet is from the Jumbo Outline Alphabet set.

The 6x6 scrapbook page is something that I am going to demo. The hostess is my s-i-l , so the picture is of her youngest son on his b-day a few weeks ago. I used the Crew Kids- Boy Simply Scrappin' kit (Haley this is a good one for Jackson). I also used the new set, Nursery Neccessities for the star and the words-little cutie. I punched out the star with the new large star punch. I also used the brand new die cuts sticky letters for the "b'' and just dumped a ton of silver glitter on it. I wasn't sure how I'd like those, but they're growing on me. Hope you all have a great weekend.
