Scratch-n-Sniff Strawberry Card

Today, with the intent to get my stamping mojo going, I whipped up this little 3x3 card using the scratch-n-stiff technique. I haven't done this one before now, so I wanted to give it a try. I plan on teaching it tomorrow at my workshop using a SU! set. I used Garden Green and Real Red for the colors. I stamped the strawberry from Papertrey on versamark onto the metal edge tag. I sprinkled on a mixture of strawberry kool aid and clear embossing powder. Then I heated it with the heat gun. I used marker to color the stem. When you scratch the strawberry you can smell the kool aid. I added a few gel pen dots and some paper piercing. I made it into a thank you card.

So cool! I've never heard of anyone doing a scratch and sniff card before. Hmmmmm....I may have to try this.

Great card. I can't wait to see what SU stamp. Still can't get the cinnamon to work. I thought it would work so well with a pumpkin
