Doin' The Happy Dance!!

We got home this afternoon from all our festivities and Carter has peed on the potty 3 times!!! He's not even 2 yet, so we aren't pushing the potty training yet, but if he wants to go we let him. He has shown a major interest this weekend. And Grandma's not going to have to water her flowers for a while *wink wink*. Anyway- here is Superbella. I don't have her yet, but I was sent a few images of her and wanted to give her a try today. The card base is Ruby Red. I folded it over and sliced off a chunk on the right side where it opens. I scalloped the card back and added white gel pen dots. This is considered a gate fold card. I've never done one of these before, but wanted to try something different. Bella is colored in with Prismacolor markers and mounted on Bashful Blue. The Blue is folded in half backwards and mounted on the insided of the card. Then the front stayes closed when I tuck it under the flowers on the front. I used the computer for the sentiment "have a SUPER birthday"! and punched it out with the word window punch.

Great card... Love that bella!! :)

WTG Carter for using the potty! My DD just turned 2 in May and has zero interest in training, so I can only imagine how nice it must be for them to actually ~want~ to use the potty! :)

Yep Heather. It's great for now, but let's hope he keeps up the good work. He actually cried before bath tonight because he wanted to pee, but had already gone so many times, he couldn't go!
