Daisyboardabella and WARNING For Parents

I just a got a few new bellas in the mail yesterday and had a chance last night to ink up Daisyboardabella. She was fun to color. The d.p. I used is from the Alpine collection by KI Memories. The sugar coated brads are by Doodlebug Design. I'm having a hard time just posting about the card, because I have something on the back of my mind that's bothering me. We just got home from Cameron's soccer game, and as a routine I hit PLAY on the answering machine and went about my business. The first one was from a kid that the boys go to school with, but I think he's a little older than Austin. The message went on and on and on. Obviously there was no parent supervision when this call was made. It really had no point, so I hit skip and went on to the next message. Same kid. Now I'm frustrated because I think "where are your parents?" I was getting ready to delete it, but decided to keep it because I thought about giving his parents a call to let them know their child is using the phone inappropriately. The message becomes violent, telling Austin to bring (something- couldn't understand what he said) on the bus Monday or he was going to bring a shotgun and blow his ******* ********* off. In this day and age these things have to be taken seriously. So when Dustin gets home from work today we WILL be calling his parents and Monday when school resumes I'll be calling the school office and the bus garage to make sure that child never comes near mine. It could be just a kid screwing around, but I'm not taking that chance. Sorry to dump this on you, but it's really bothering me!

Wow, Erica... I don't blame you one bit! That is super scary, and even if it is a joke, no one is laughing! His parents should definitely know what he's up to when no one is around...

Great card, too! Love your coloring. :)

I hope you saved the tape. I personally would call the police because honestly, I dont think the schools take anything like this seriously. My son was harrassed horrible in 6th grade and they blamed HIM for other kids following him around and threatening him. I got to the point I picked him up and dropped him off everyday. the principal sucked too. Luckily he was going to another school the next year but he spend two years looking over his shoulder to see who was following him. any time a gun is mentioned, you contact the police.

That's really scary. I would probably be freakin' out too. What would be really sad is if his parents just brush it off or if they're the root of the problem. Your card is super cute though!
