Grandma's Birthday Card

Next month is my grandma's birthday. I always work a month ahead, so I began her birthday gift and card today. In the fall my grandpa built her a "potting shed". They love being outside, working in the garden and flower beds. That was my inspiration for her card. I paper pieced the shovel, pot, and rake. It went together very easily. Her gift is a work in progress. I'm putting together a garden gift basket for her. It has gloves, tools, seed packets, pots, etc. inside it but there are a few things I need to add to it before it's finished.

you must've gotten a new "paper-piecing how-to" book, with all the stuff you've been doing lately with that technique. I love that look! too neat!
