I made this card for Dustin's grandma who had her 70th birthday coming up next week. I used all SU! products on this one. The d.p. is Sweet Always and the set is Crazy For Cupcakes. I used liquid applique on the cupcakes for the "frosting" and there is glitter on the cherries. TGIF!

What's Cookin'?
Did I mention how much I love the Dress Up Lily/Billy set and Accessories? I know, only like 100 times. I can't help it. They are just so darn cute! Billy is cookin' up birthday wishes on this card. I used From The Kitchen Of from SU! on this one along with Billy. It was a perfect match and since the recipe card had never seen ink before, this was the perfect opportunity to use it. Hope everyone has a great stamping day!

Bear Hugs
I recently got my new C.C. Designs set, called Bear Hugs, from ATS. Before I even ordered the set, I knew what I wanted to do with it. When I think about bears and bees, I think about honey. So I created this little jar with honey lemon cough drops in it to give as a gift. I purchased these little inexpensive glass jars at Michael's a while back. I wrapped a strip of Washington Apple D.P. from SU! around the jar. I colored and cut out my bear and mounted him on a square scallop. For the lid I punched out a Mega and Giga scallop from So Saffron carstock and slit each scallop to look like flowers, added the bees, and tied a ribbon around the lid to finish it off. What do you think?
Craig Morgan Concert

Today is my last day of fair pics, I promise! If you are not country music fans, this may not be as exciting for you as it was for us- but I'm going to share anyways! Saturday of the fair they always have a country music concert, and time it was Craig Morgan. My boys and nephews are HUGE Internatonal Harvester fans. That's one of his big songs. We were lucky enough to get front row seats and the boys had red IH shirts on that got his attention a few times. The concert was AWESOME! He was very entertaining and not bad to look at either. Austin caught the first guitar pick that he threw out. Since it was crowded by the gates to exit at the end of the concert, we stuck around for a while. I am so glad we did because he signed all of our shirts! He is a really cool guy and we had so much fun! Stay tuned for my crafty post.

Austin's Big Show Day
Bragging rights!
Austin with Sassy in front if Uncle Bill's bench. This bench was made in his memory and if he were still here I know he'd be so proud of Austin.Austin with Dizzy
Wednesday was Austin's Dairy Heifer show day , and I can proudly say...he cleaned house! I am so proud of this little guy. It's his first year in 4-H and he couldn't have done better! He got first place in his class with both, the holstein and the brown swiss. Then he got champion over all with his Holstein and reserve grand champion with his Swiss. Then he won showmanship. Not bad for a first timer! Be sure to scroll down for today's crafty post.

You're Out Of This World
Today the boys go back to school. Austin in in 4th grade, CAmeron is in 1st, and Carter starts preschool:( It is always bittersweet for me. I look forward to them going back, but yet I miss them while they are gone. At least I'll have a little more time to create. Here is the first of the cards that I've made using Lily & Billy's accessories from PCS. There are so many adorable stamps in the accessories set that you can make a card for almost every occassion. You'll be seeing lots of Lily & Billy cards and other items from me! For this card I used some outer space d.p. from Karen Foster that I had in my stash. I used my Copic Air Brush System to "splatter" black ink all over the card. Now, the planet that Billy is standing on is actually form LAD, but everything else is from PCS. This one will be added to my Etsy shop, so if you are interested click on the link on the right side bar of my blog. Have a great Tuesday!

Bookbag Tags
Each year before school starts I try to make a little something school related for my boys and my nephews that is inexpensive. This year I decided to make them all bookbag tags using Billy from Pink Cat Studio. They are so easy to make, but I had so much fun creating each one using their own bookbags as my inspiration. I made 6 of these, but I'll just share a few with you. I simply decorated my tag with Billy and some accessories, added their names, then put them in business card size self laminating sheets. After sealing it up I punched a hole with the Crop-A-Dile and added a jumbo eyelet and ring, tied on coordinating ribbon, and that's it!
Catch Up Day
Austin got 1st in his class.Cameron didn't place, but got a ribbon and that's all he cared about.
Carter got 3rd in his class.
Yesterday was the last day of our county fair. Most of you know that's where we've been since last Sunday. We camped there all week, so today I have lots of laundry and cleaning to do. I do have eye candy for you a little later, but wanted to share a few pictures of the boys showing their pigs on Tuesday. Each day I will share a few more fair photos. If you visit this blog for my crafty posts, feel free to skip over these.

Witchybella
I've had Witchybella sitting on my desk for over a week now waiting to be used. I went through my scraps and pulled out some older Halloween patterned paper and went with one of Julee's anni-VERVE-sary sketches. I really didn't have anything in mind when I sat down to stamp, so I needed the inspiration from Julee's sketch. I colored my bella with Copics and used my Copic airbrush system to mist black marker over my main image. I hope you are enjoing your weekend. We are moving our camper to the fair grounds tomorrow, so I've got to get busy and get things packed.

Birthday Gift & Card For Jackson
I had so much fun making all of the coaster frames for my daycare kids a while back, that I decided to use my new LAD set, Gizmos & Gears, to make a frame for Jackson. He is my downline and friend, Haley's, little boy that will be turning one very soon. I also made a matching card. She and Baby J got my package today, and they seemed thrilled with it. So now I'm going to share it with you! I got the coasters that I used for the frame from Stamp On This and everything else is from Stampin' Up! Have a great Thursday!

Back To School Billy
In 2 weeks my boys say good-bye to summer as they head back to school. I am the most routine/schedule oriented person, but I'm not ready for the same ole' day in and day out routine of getting them off to school and homework. I made this little card to stick in their lunch boxes on their first day. I used Billy from Pink Cat Studio. I am anxiously awaiting my Lily/Billy accessories, but in the meantime I used a few stamps from other sets to go with Billy. The apple on th epaper clip, the bookbag, and the Back To School sentiment are all from MFT Back To School set. The notebook paper stamp is from October Afternoon. I'm not sure what the set is called. The sidewalk Billy is stamding on is hand drawn. Oh- the colors I used for this card are the new In-Colors from SU! They are Red Riding Hood, Pacific Point, and Tangerine Tango. Sorry for the inconsistant posts lately, but we are getting ready for our county fair. That is very time consuming when you have 5 animals to take. Once that's over and the boys are back to school things will be back to normal. I promise!

Anni-VERVE-sary Sketch #3
My goal was to complete all 12 of Julee's sketches. It's still not too late because there are still several to go, but I only have 3 done. I have a workshop that I'm prepping for, the fair in 10 days. We'll see how the rest of the weekend goes. In the meantime, here sketch #3. I really like this layout. It was a good excuse to pull out my Cuttlebug embossing folders to use for the background layer of this card. Oh- the pink is one of the new In Colors. This one is Pirouette Pink. I love pink and black together. The set I used is Priceless from SU! Maybe I'll be able to check in later. TGIF!

Anni-VERVE-sary Sketch #2
Here is my take on Julee's AVS #2. The card measures 4.25" x 4.25". For mailing purposes it will fit in a standard A2 envelope. I dusted off my PTI Green Thumb set for the flower and the sentiment. This is a quick post because we are off to walk fair calves.

No Mojo Monday Sketch...WHAT!?
The first thing I do on Monday mornings when I log onto my computer is head over to Julee's blog to see what she's got in store for the mojo Monday sketch. I don't know about you, but I need lots of inspiration on Monday mornings. Well, I did just that, but this time...no sketch! But as I read her post, she told us she would be posting DAILY sketches over at SCS for the next 12 days in honor of her anni-VERVE-sary. I was so excited. Today we are on sketch 6, I think. I'm trying to keep up, but here is my card for AVS01. This one uses Huggybellas from Stamping Bella. It has tons of layers! The patterned paper is Organic Marigold from Bo Bunny. That's about it for today. I have to finish whipping up thank you's for the boys' birthday party.

Designer Bags
....Designer Series Paper, that is! I found the best tutorial for making these little bags here. They are so easy to make and can be decorated for all occassions. Mine uses the Crew Kids Boy SSK. Might as well use it up before it retires! Go give it a try!

Don't Quit Your Day Job!
I like to bake the kids their birthday cakes and decorate them according to the theme. I never said I was good at it, but I enjoy it. Most of you know that we are going camping this weekend and will be having a birthday party tomorrow for Cameron and Carter. The theme is "beach monkey". Cam wanted a monkey, and I thought it couldn't be that hard so I got to it. He loves it. I'm not so sure, but what's done is done and I'm not making another one! Have a great weekend!
