I had a vision for this card and I'm not sure if it came out the way I had planned, but you get the idea. I used a few sets on this card. I was thinking- counting sheep, so the first is my new MFT Punny Farm set. That's where the "flying sheep" came from. The Rock-A-Bye-Baby sentiment came from SU's Nursery Neccessities set, and the moon and stars is from SU's retired Bundle Of Joy set. The card itself is self explainitory. I put dazzling diamonds on the stars and liquid applique on the sheep. TGIF!! I'm off to make a birthday card for my mom's 50th birthday (Monday)!

My New Stamps Came!
I keep telling myself that I'm not buying any more MFT stamps because I haven't come to terms with their headlessness. But again, I have bought two more sets. I had to have the How Sweet It Is set and another that I'll share with you tomorrow. I am a chocolate lover and so is my sister-in-law. I got this set mainly to send cards to her. The card that I made to send her today is using the Berry Bliss d.p. I also stamped chocolate kisses on the d.p. , along with the Hugs & Kisses sentiment. The sentiment on the inside of the card is perfect. It says Sisters and chocolate make life bearable. It is so true for both of us because we both do daycare in our homes and if we didn't have each other and chocolate we probably would've lost it by now! Have a sweet day!

Patterned Paper Popcicle
This card is for yesterday's SCS challenge. We were to use different patterned papers on our card. The two I used is from Imaginisce's - A Shore Thing line. The Popsicle stamp that I used was from our LLS for $1, also by Imaginisce. I covered the Popsicle with Crystal Effects after coloring it so it looks wet and juicy. But if you live in Ohio, you'll be making snow cones today!

Happy Birthday Nana
Today is my mother-in-law's birthday, and I need to whip up a QUICK card, because the kids are home from school ......AGAIN! Let's hope that this is the last of the snow because they will already be making up days in June. I used my favorite d.p. on this card- Stampin' Up's Berry Bliss. I love pinks and browns together. I sponged the edges of all of the different layers with Chocolate Chip ink. I added some pearls to the corners and the main image is from the SAB set, So Many Scallps. I inked it in Versamark onto the Purely Pomegranate paper and embossed it with Winter White, then punched it out with the scallop punch. We will be getting together tonight to celebrate her birthday. TGIF!!

2,4,6,8 Acetate Box
I am really happy with the way this box turned out since I have never made one before. I'm sure it will be even easier the next time around. I found the directions for this here. I used my favorite set, A Good Egg, and filled the box with "bunny corn". I'm off to spend the morning at school with Cameron for his 100th day celebration.
*EDITED*- I had a few people ask where you can purchase acetate. I actually bought a package of overhead transparencies at Staples. They are 8 1/2 x 11 sheets, and that is what I used for this project.

Share Your Secrets
I'm trying really hard to use all of my bellas before my new stamps come. We'll see. I am not satified with this card, but I'm not sure what it is that's bothering me about it. The d.p. is Two Scoops by Basic Grey. Bellas were colored with Prisma colored pencils and gamasol. the sentiment actually said "share your secrets over stamping, but I covered that up and put ICE CREAM!! The Dairy Queen is open in our area and that is always a downfall of mine!

Happy New Baby
I whipped up this card for Lauren's Saturday Sketch using left over d.p. that I made for the camo name frame. I used the By One's and By Two's set that will be available March 1st in the Occassions mini catalog.

Name Frame
Today we went to Dustin's cousin's daughter's 1st birthday party. I only decided yesterday afternoon that the kids and I were going to go. I had no idea what to get her and was running out of time. I decided to whip up this name frame for her room. She shares a room with her older brother, but her little corner is the pink camo John Deere theme. I made the camo for the background using High Hopes cow spots stamp. I just colored each spot a different color to look like camo. I think it turned out really cute for a last minute, inexpensive gift. What do you think?

Happy Valentine's Day
Today's card is another Bella, Pregabella I think. I made this card to send out to those pregnant mommies who like to shop and buy cute baby things to pass the time during those long 9 months. I used the last of my Just 4 You d.p. I guess I'll have to host another workshop so I can get that SSk again. I paper pieced her shopping bags and added a couple little safety pins. The Retail Therapy sentiment is also from Stamping Bella. Happy Heart Day!

Bridal Shower
In a few weeks I have a bridal shower to go to for Dustin's cousin. Cameron is the ring bearer in the wedding. He's going to be sooo cute! Here is the card I made for the shower. I used Billybootabella. Her umbrella reminded me of a "shower, so that's why I chose her. I paper pieced her umbrella and boots with d.p. from the Level 3 hostess SSK- Just 4 You. I printed Bridal Shower for the sentiment on the computer. I added "pearls" to the corners and did a little paper piecing on the main image.
Today I'm having a Valentine's party for my daycare kids, so I better get going.

Today's Workshop Projects
I have a workshop this afternoon, which means no stamping..for "me" anyways. I wanted to share with you the things we will be making. First, will be this adorable 6x6 scrapbook page that used the Just 4 You Level 3 Hostess SSK. Then I will be demonstrating this cute little 2,5,7,10 box. I filled it with ribbon to give to the hostess. The girls will be making the party blowers and onesie card that I showed you earlier in the week. Happy Sunday!

Just Another Day
I'm so glad to be sharing this card with you today, because it came together just as I had envisioned it ...last night when I should have been sleeping. It took a lot of trial and error to get it right, but I'm glad I stuck with it because I have not seen anyone else do this with their new Hanna set , yet! I'm not totally thrilled with the color scheme, but it reminds me of a living room that a her husband just let for her to clean up. I used Domestic Goddess (H.S.) and also, Let's Hear It For The Boys (MFT). The- Just another day sentiment comes from TAC. I kept the card itself pretty simple because I didn't want to take away from the scene. Let me know what you think!

Meet Riley The Moose
I think moose are just the cutest things, so when Hanna Stamps came out with a line of moose stamps (named Riley) I had to get at least one. The one I got is Riley in the Garden. The sentiment on the cards reads Friendship is the sweetest flower- by PTI (papertrey ink). I watercolored Riley with WWC and an aqua painter. I put a little brown flock on Riley's antlers. The rest is pretty basic.

Domestic Goddess
Since I had been internet-less for 24 hours due to server problems, I had a lot of time to stamp. I have several cards to share with you, but today I will share with you my first ever Hanna stamp set- Domestic Goddess. My s-i-l says this set is perfect for me because of the saying.." A clean house is a sign of a lazy stamper". I must say I am good at multi tasking. I do have a pretty clean house, but I also make it a priority to stamp everyday! So here is Hanna is all here glory...cleaning away!

Baby Onesie Card
I made onesie cards way back over a year ago for my sis-in-law. They were so cute, but I haven't made any since. But when I checked Lauren Meader's blog the other day, she had made adorable ones as well. I still have the template, but she made hers using punches. No template required. So I tried it that way, and it was just as easy. I decided that we will be making these at my workshop this weekend. I know that group of people have a lot of babies coming in the near future. I used the 1 3/8 cirle punch and the scallop punch, and the Nursery Neccessities set. I'd love to see what you come up with. Leave a comment and link me to your onesie cards!

Wild About You
Today's card is for the SCS color challenge. The combo we were to use is Real Red, Apricot Appeal, and Ballet Blue. This combo was great for a kids card, so I pulled out the Wild About You set. I used Beate's weekend sketch for the layout.

It's A Boy!
We've had quite a run lately of new babies and babies to be, so with the few minutes I had today I created this cutie card. I used Julee's Mojo Monday sketch from today. This is a 4.25x4.25 card. The stamp set is Nursery Neccessities and the d.p. is from the retired Winter Bright SSK. Everything else is self explainitory.
