Enjoy Life and Blog Candy

This is my 300th post! So today, I'm giving away blog candy! First thing you'll be receiving is this card. It is for today's SCS color challenge. We were to use Basic Gray, Purely Pomegranate, and Sofy Sky. I first used these colors together at Loisville regionals and love them! The set I used was also a promotion for the demonstrators who attended regionals. It is callled Enjoy Every Moment and will be available in the 2008 SU! collection beginning January 1st. I had a hard time with this set though. I think it will be cute for scrapbook pages, but was a stuggle for today's card. In addition to the card, the winner will be getting a giant alterable paperclip, an alterable board book, a Cuttlebug embossing folder, ribbon, autumn brads, Family Fun metal signs by Karen Foster Design, Studio G clear stamp set and acrylic block, sticky notes, Creative Imaginations paper clips, and a bag of die cut alphabet letters. Now here's what you have to do... Leave a comment on this post telling me what you would dress up as for Halloween if you were a kid again, and what type of candy would you hope to get if you were to go trick-or-treating. I will choose a random winner on Friday, October 26th. Thanks for playing.

Hmmm...that's a toughie! Dress up as maybe Hermione from Harry Potter (I know, lame!) but at least I have the frizzy hair! And candy?? I LOVE butterfingers, so the little mini ones of those were always a major score for me! That or peanut butter cups!! Yum!!

I guess I would have to dress up as Santa Claus, or someone else on the "chubby" side! LOL! And I would love anything CHOCOLATE, (hence the chubbiness), especially any of the Dove Chocolates!

Let me see...I would dress up like Scarlet O'Hara from Gone With The Wind. I am Yankee born and bred but like the Southern states and their relaxed ways.
I would like to receive Butterfingers as they are my most favorite candy.

LOL. It is a good thing you didn't ask me what I would be as an adult. I would have to say a witch then I wouldn't have to dress up at all.

I think I would be a princess. We never got any kind of costumes when we were kids. Kids now have it made.

Favorite candy is snickers. Yum Yum.

Congrats on 300 posts!

Its hard to say what I would dress up at. I love to dress up still but its been a couple of years since the last time. Maybe a witch to keep with the Halloween theme, although I think something more orginal could be fun. I could dress up like the girl in the movie "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" but then no one would know would I was. Ahhh its too hard to say!

As for candy I would like: chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate:) I am a chocoholic!

What would your choices be?

Have a nice week:)

I would totally be a Care-Bear all over again! When I was a kid, my aunt and grandma made me a home-made pink Care-Bear (the one with the rainbow on its tummy) and my little face peeked out of its giant mouth. I think I pulled that costume out for a couple years in a row! And you couldn't beat grandma's popcorn balls during Halloween time.

I would dress up as a popcorn ball! I love them at halloween time! I could use a clear bag and go to the theater and have them fill me up! I could have a felt hat in the shape of a candy corn!! I have always wanted to do that but never have. It is a fantasy for sure! Congrats on your 300 post, I enjoy your blog.

I usually dress up as an adult and I have no kids at home either but I havent had time to look around so it may be spur of the moment for me this year. I do dress up my dog tho-this year he will be an angel (whichhe isnt) Last year he was Darth Vader which fit.

I would dress up as a scary old witch - for some reason this is what I always think of with Halloween. I love any kind of chocolate and dressed up chocolate wrappers for Halloween are terrific.
Congrats on your hits.

If I were a kid, I would go for a Princess. Got to love the dress, a wand and a crown.

And of course....I just have to get by reese's. It can be peanut butter cups, reese's pieces or the reese's sticks. Doesn't matter!

I would dress up as a princess if I were a little girl and I would love to get some DARK chocolate with CARAMEL. Oh YUM!

That is a hard question to answaer for sure. If I was going to dress up I would probably like to dress up as witch one that looks like the mother on the Adams Family. I think that would be fun. Especially if I had a body like hers. lol

My favorite candy are thos halloween kisses. I look forward to those every year

Tks for the chance of winning such great blog candy!

I would probably dress up as Ms. Viola Swamp from the children's book- Ms. Nelson is Missing. I did this last school year when my kids needed a "mean sub" and I didn't want to take the day off. They actually did really well that day and were convinced that I was Ms. Swamp. As for the candy- anything with Peanut butter and chocolate or three musketeers!

Hmmm... fun question!! I'm going to say that i'd dress up as a baby.. lol!! I love being able to wear my pj's around the house when I stay in.. (LOL! *Blush*) so i'd definitely throw on my warmest pj's and head out for the night! What would I like to receive in my 'treat bag'? Expensive, dark chocolate.. LOL!!!! :)

I would dress up like a princess again. It's hard sometimes to remember we were all princess at sometime or another. I would love to receive all tootsie rolls!! Thanks for the chance.

I would dress up as a butterfly. They are beautiful creatures and when I was lil the options were certainly nowhere as great or as beautiful as today's choices. The candy I would really want would be an EATMORE bar. I have recently been diagnosed as a diabetic so they are soooooo off limits for me but you did say if we were young again and able to go tricj or treating ;-)

I remember once when I was little, I had decided not to go trick-or-treating, but then on Halloween, changed my mind. My mom quicky made a makeshift costume for me by wrapping a huge box in Christmas paper and cutting holes in it for my arms, legs and head, then putting in on me and topping off my head with a bow. If I could have that moment back, I would and I would go as a Christmas present all over again even though my little arms could hardly fit around the box to hold my candy bag. It was a great night with and it is the one costume I'll always remember.

As for treats...chocolate ALL THE WAY! My favorites are snickers and milky way. I LOVE chocolate!

I think I would dress up as either Jeannie from I Dream of Jeannie, or Ariel from The Little Mermaid. Unfortunately, I don't exactly have the body for those outfits...not yet anyway. As far as candy, my new favorite candy is Hershey's Nuggets Chocolate Truffles. I've told my friends that I love them so much I want to marry them and have babies with them so I can eat my young! (Yeah, I'm really weird like that!) Thanks for the chance to win!

A sailor! When I was in college I wore my Dad's navy uniform to a Halloween party - didn't matter that he was 6-2 & I was 5-2 - really had to hem up those bell-bottoms!
Congrats on the posts.

FABULOUS goodies! I would totally dress up as a princess! Can you believe that I NEVER got to do that as a child? I was a TV, clown, nun, jailbird....but never a girly girl princess! Guess what my 2 year old is going as??? Yup, a princess!
Thanks!

Great prize!! I actually work at an elementary school and try to dress up every year. Working with kids also gives you that 'permission' to be goofy. So, last year I dressed up as Static Cling (or a pile of laundry). I bought a plastic rain poncho and pinned socks, teatowels, facecloths etc. It was a hoot!
Thanks for a chance at a great prize!

Just like when I was a greedy kid who wanted to move as quickly as possible so we'd get lots of candy, I'd wear something comfortable like a cheerleader outfit. Unlike when I was a kid, I'm much more picky about my chocolate and only want the expensive fine chocolates, not what we get at the grocery store. Now it's quality, not quantity:)

Oh to be a kid again! Since I have been on a serious chocolate diet - no chocolate bars for 19 weeks tomorrow! Testing willpower, & for a few other reasons, I would luvvv some good chocolate, from Europe (& old fashioned candy kisses too). I am a serious daily chocoholic, so I am pleased with myself for being able to do this!! I'd dress up as anything just to have the fun again, but I'm thinking all the opposites of me... an exagerated sexy Hollywood star, with long dark wig, huge curves, big make up and a long sexy gown, & big red lipstick lips, hehehe ;))) wink
